About the Client:
The Client, an energy infrastructure company, came to PreScouter for help organizing a virtual technology showcase for their midstream division. The Client’s objective was to integrate digitization technologies and consolidate their system in order to achieve more effective and efficient operations across all departments.
Challenge:
The challenge of this Research Support Service Project was to identify venders offering the following software solutions to an audience of internal stakeholders:
- Environmental and social governance (ESG)
- Analytical risk assessment and management
- Asset monitoring
- Computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Digital twins
Approach:
PreScouter undertook secondary and primary research and compiled a list of promising technologies and vendors. Interviews were conducted with vendors, where PreScouter collected presentation drafts and arranged follow-up meetings between the vendors and the Client to further tailor the material to align with their objectives. Subject Matter Experts were also invited to provide insights on the potential impact digital transformation would have on the Client’s operations.
Outcome:
Fourteen vendors were contacted, interviewed, and narrowed down to a total of 10 participants. PreScouter provided the Master of Ceremonies for the event, which took place over several days, and compiled a final report highlighting discussions and feedback given during the showcase.
Impact of PreScouter’s Work:
The Client engaged with several of the participating vendors for future partnership and collaboration.
